Apples looking for worldwide music rights iCloud

Manager in iTunes try to lock the clouds all over the world-music rights, CNET has learned.

Sources said Apple is close to reaching an agreement with the holder the right, but nothing is signed. Apples representative declined comment.

In June, then-Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced an online storage service called cloud iCloud designed to make it easy to share music wirelessly, e-mail, photos, calendars, and other data between the handheld and desktop computer gadgets. Apple's new service to try to harness the power and flexibility of cloud computing for home users. It uses a technique that has proven popular with business to make it easier to move data stored on Apple servers back and forth between multiple devices and applications.
