I had a bit of a soft spot for the spy film and romantic comedy (no, I don’t consider them just as chick Flick). In fact I think a lot of us. So what would happen if you put the two together? Well, if This means War is something to go, then what will come out of this combination is a film so-so who has time, but ultimately failed to leave a big impression.

At the end, I didn’t know who was Heinrich (Til Schweiger) or what he was after. Instead, the spy elements from this film are used primarily to provide an extra edge with the love triangle story. Of course, this still works in a variety of cases, such as when men are secretly plants a camera in Lauren’s House without seeing each other, but I want to see more about this agency organization and motivation. It might even make the Government funded the CIA became the pawns of ignorance in a bit of “gentlemen’s challenge is” easier to swallow.

The romantic aspect of comedy This means war did a little better. I get it, she’s supposed to be a mother drunk with dirty minds, but I do not need to be drilled into my head whenever he is on screen.
